Alton Rose
Registered Intern in Mental Health Counseling IMH# 20398

I came to Mental Health Counseling from a myriad of backgrounds, including law and education. Currently, I work in Community Mental Health, counseling clients with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and ADHD.
Prior to that, I did my internship at a youth training facility counseling teenage boys with issues such as anger, substance abuse, and behavioral challenges.
I view counseling as a way of helping others to have a more meaningful life as characterized in my book, “How to Get to Age 30, Wise, Healthy and Wealthy” published in South Korea. I am particularly knowledgeable of South Korean culture, having lived there for over ten years.
When not counseling, I teach students how to pass the CPCE and NCE counseling exams.
