Nathan began his career in human services, counseling/supervising at a busy outpatient treatment facility serving substance use clients with co-occurring disorders. During his seven years working with high-risk clients, he began to realize that many people need more time to heal in order to be successful. The idea of change is often intimidating and scary; however, Nathan believes that with the proper motivation and guidance, clients have the best chance for positive outcomes. Nathan has extensive training and experience working with SUD clients and is a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP).

Nathan views therapy as a collaborative relationship, which allows clients to transform into the best version of themselves at a pace that works for them. Nathan utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy in the process of helping clients achieve their goals.
