Megan McKeon
Mental Health Graduate Student at University of the Cumberlands

I am a master’s level Clinical Mental Health Counseling student. My goal as a counselor is to cultivate a safe and creative environment during counseling sessions to support your journey of self-discovery and healing. Everyone has hard times, some that are unexpected. When that happens, caring and support are needed, someone to hold a non-judgmental space.
Some of the therapies I utilize are person-centered, cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness-based. Together, we explore your unique aspects of self, discover innate strengths, and customize a therapy path that fits in with your goals. My personal philosophy is that counseling includes the whole person: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Feeling seen, understood, and accepted is the first step towards inspiring growth.
