Michelle graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Michelle has worked 10 years as a Holistic Wellness Coach using integrative interventions to assist clients with nutritional, physical, and mental wellness. In the past 4 years, Michelle has brought this wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of counseling and has continued to develop her skills as a therapist. Michelle holds a Certificate as an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and frames her approach from a trauma-informed lens. Michelle is passionate about working with clients to transcend their suffering from fears, negative beliefs, distressing events, traumas, depression, low mood, and anxiety.

Michelle’s therapeutic approach is individualized to each client and offers traditional forms of talk therapy using techniques in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Your past does not have to be your present, and Michelle recognizes how powerful the work of therapy can be in rewiring and healing the brain. Michelle enjoys teaching through psychoeducation and sharing a wealth of information as she applies her past role as a Researcher in assisting clients with the latest science-based information to support them on their journey towards optimal health and wellness.
