Jose Pantoja

I am a fan of life and the new challenges that we must overcome every day. Although, sometimes, life can resemble a battle like of The Hunger Games. I have had to be resilient and start from zero multiple times. I had to leave my country after a natural disaster that left me with no job and no income. I remember having to make that decision in a couple of minutes with my wife, who was pregnant, and my 4-year-old boy. The only thing I had was my dreams and the will to fight for our future in a new country with a new language that I would have to learn in record time.
I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I also have a professional certification as Conflict Mediator, and I am currently working on a certification as Master Mindset Life Coach and waiting for the results of my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida.
As a Family Therapist, I love working with children because my own two boys have made me an expert in this matter. I also enjoy working with tweens and teens between the ages of 10 and 17. I have experience working with self-esteem and self-confidence issues, anger management, addictive behaviors, PTSD, and depression. I have been able to help multiple clients through both the process of ending their relationship or rebuilding it.
I really love seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces and seeing them walk away feeling relieved and with renewed spirits to go tackle their days.
Allow me to guide you in the first step towards your new life.
Jose Pantoja’s experience is very diverse and vast. Jose began to work as an Outpatient Therapist with multicultural issues and immigration. Then, Mr. Pantoja also developed the ability to explore symptoms of depression, anxiety and other traumas with kids and adolescents by using Play Therapy. Jose also provided Parenting Tips and helped a lot of Parents to improve their communication with their Children and Adolescents. Jose was part of a clinic where he could work with Elders, Couples and Young adults. Mr. Pantoja uses Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy to motivate clients to enjoy little changes and develop new ways to perceive their actual situations. It’s fascinating to be part of the miracle of a client’s self-discovery and to celebrate their little victories.
