Sherline graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Sherline has worked many years with Domestic Violence Survivors and adults and teens struggling with mental health issues. Sherline believe that everyone has the strength within themselves to heal, and her role as a counselor is to support and empower clients as they continue to use the strength within themselves to cope and heal from any area that they may be struggling with. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, and everyday life stressors she can help assist.
Sherline therapeutic approach is catered to each individual client’s need. She uses mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) and Adlerian therapy to assist clients in reaching their ultimate therapeutic goals. Sherline enjoy assisting clients in finding their strengths which resides within, in order to set achievable goals for their lives.
