Sherline Herard, MH24002
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Sherline graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked for many years with domestic violence survivors and adults and teens struggling with mental health issues. Sherline believes that everyone has the strength within themselves to heal, and her role as a counselor is to support and empower clients as they continue to use this inner strength to cope and heal from any area they may be struggling with. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, or everyday life stressors, she can help assist.
Sherline's therapeutic approach is catered to each individual client’s needs. She uses a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Adlerian therapy to assist clients in reaching their ultimate therapeutic goals. She enjoys assisting clients in finding the strengths within themselves to set achievable goals for their lives.
Sherline also has extensive experience working with couples, helping them navigate the complexities of their relationships. She works with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect. By addressing relational patterns and finding effective solutions, Sherline empowers couples to strengthen their bonds and overcome challenges together.
Taking the first step towards a new journey is always difficult; however, Sherline can help make the process a little less overwhelming. Please call Sherline today for a free phone consultation, and let’s start working together to help establish or build the strength within you.
