Delitha “Dee” Dixon-Lynch, MS, MA
Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern #436

Dee has 16 years of experience working with couples, both premarital and married. Her journey began in church and pastoral ministry, where she developed a deep appreciation for the ways faith, relationships, and life experiences intersect. Following that calling, she pursued graduate studies to become a master’s-level therapist, working with individuals, couples, and families.
She also completed Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), including internships and residency in both pediatric and general hospital settings. Her chaplaincy work involved providing compassionate psycho-social-spiritual care to patients, families, and hospital staff, as well as mentoring interns, presenting on specialty topics integrating healthcare and spirituality, conducting research, and serving on special-interest boards.
She has a particular passion for walking alongside people as they navigate major life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and the relational challenges that often accompany these experiences. She believes that our life circumstances can profoundly shape how we understand ourselves and experience our relationships—with partners, family members, and even colleagues in the workplace.
Her specialized areas of focus include relational discernment counseling for couples experiencing intimate partner betrayal or facing significant challenges that have brought their marriage to a breaking point; family trauma counseling; and helping individuals and families navigate identity concerns following DNA parental discoveries and surprises. She also provides individual and family pastoral counseling to faith leaders, including pastors, ministers, and chaplains.
Her therapeutic approach is guided by Christian principles and a genuine respect for each client's individual journey. Spirituality may be incorporated into therapy when requested and with the client's permission, creating space for faith to be a meaningful part of the healing and growth process.
