Shannon Parrinello IMH24291
Registered Mental Health Intern
I received my Master of Science degree from Capella University, where I studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During this time, I attended multiple residencies, as well as clinical internship where I counseled at Elite DNA. I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida and plan to obtain clinical licensure.
As I worked as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for over four years, I have a passion for helping children/adolescents and families. I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are, and how this impacts comfortability and openness in therapy. Due to my background, I also have a passion for working with children and families who struggle with developmental delays or other disabilities.
With my clients, I implement a tailored and collaborative approach that works for the individuals, couples, and or families. I highlight strengths and values in therapy to help clients reach their goals in a lasting and fulfilling way.
I hope to connect and discuss beginning your counseling journey!
